To enable us to offer our customers the best sustainable solution we followed up our successful application for solar thermal approval with heat pump accreditation.

We can now supply a complete renewable heating system that will not only provide with low cost hot water, but also highly efficient and economical heating. To find out more about Heat Pumps go to our new section above.

This also means that you stand to save even more money through next year's Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI).

The Renewable Heat Incentive will provide financial support for those who install renewable heating, which qualifies for support under the scheme. It proposes paying a 'tariff' to producers of renewable heat - see table below for solar hot water tariffs.

Put into simple terms, anyone who has a solar water heating system fitted by us can stand to gain payments of up to £400 per year for 20 years. If you have an air source heat pump fitted you could be looking at up to £1000 per year for almost as long - combined that's more than the average household's fuel bill of £1300.

*Systems installed after July 2009 by an MCS Accredited installer will also be eligible for the Renewable Heat Incentive. Payments will still begin from April 2011.
